A beautiful 1931 better date Mercury dime graded MS 65 by NGC. It carries a strong strike throughout both sides with partially split bands on the reverse. This date is very tough to find in this grade level. It holds some attractive light pink toning throughout both sides.
This Philadelphia Mint date holds a higher mintage of 3,150,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 87 graded Mint State 65 by NGC.
