1928 S 1c Lincoln Wheat Cent NGC MS 65 RB Uncirculated Red Brown CAC Approved !

A very attractive 1928 S better date Lincoln wheat cent graded MS 65 RB by NGC. It holds an exceptional strike with completely original surfaces. It holds a nearly fully red obverse with a mostly brown reverse. A very unique coin that was very likely stored in an album which would explain the coloration. It has been approved by CAC for quality. This San Francisco Mint date holds a massive mintage of 17,226,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,100 have survived with red and brown surfaces such as this one. It is one of only 23 graded Mint State 65 Red Brown by NGC. It is also one of only six approved by CAC for quality in this grade level.
