1926 S 5c Buffalo Head Nickel NGC XF 45 Extra Fine to About Uncirculated Tough

A tough 1926 S better date buffalo head nickel graded XF 45 by NGC. It holds great detail for the grade and has some nice original toning among both sides. The lines you see around the rims throughout both sides are how this coin was made at the mint. A very original coin that is seldom offered in this grade level. 

This San Francisco Mint date holds the lowest mintage of the entire series of only 970,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 11,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 86 graded Extra Fine 45 by NGC.
