A very attractive 1922 No D, Strong Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent graded Extra Fine Details by NGC. The wheat lines on the reverse are completely full all the way up to the very tips. This coin is one of the most valuable variety coins to find in this grade level. NGC has labeled this coin have 'environmental damage'. However, we do not believe this is accurately. It does have a darker tone throughout both sides but looks very nice. The 1922 No D, Strong Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent is one of the most popular variety coins ever produced for the Lincoln wheat cent series. It holds a mintage of 7,160,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 15,000 have survived that are the No D variety!
