A cool 1902 proof barber quarter graded PR 66 by PCGS. A very unusual coin to find in circulated condition that is seldom ever offered in this grade level. It holds a very sharp proof quality strike with some original toned surfaces. We believe it is one of only a few circulated proof barber quarters we have ever offered.
This proof issue coin holds a tiny mintage of only 775. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 675 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only two graded Proof 55 by PCGS.
