An absolutely gorgeous 1898 proof barber quarter graded PF 62 by NGC. It carries a superior proof quality strike throughout both sides with blast white surfaces throughout the obverse and reverse. This proof issue date is seldom ever offered in an 'affordable' grade level such as this one.
This proof coin holds a mintage of 735. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 650 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only nine graded Proof 62 by NGC.
