1889 O $1 Morgan Dollar NGC MS 64 Uncirculated Toned Better Date Tough

A crusty original 1889 O better date silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by NGC. It holds a decent strike throughout both sides with lightly toned original surfaces. This New Orleans Mint date has been harder to come by lately in these mint state grades and has been in strong demand among collectors. This New Orleans Mint coin holds a higher mintage of 11,875,000. However, of this large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,187,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 1,047 graded Mint State 64 by NGC.
