A very attractive 1887/6 proof three cent nickel graded PR 63 by PCGS. This coin carries some attractive colorful toning as shown in the photos provided. Please note, the smudge marks you see are hits on the certification holder and are not on the coin. This coin has ben noted to have come from the Teich Family Collection and has been approved by CAC for quality.
This date holds a low mintage of only 2,960. Of this small mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 800 have survived. This is one of only 77 graded PR 63 by PCGS. This coin is one of just four approved by CAC in this grade level!
