An attractive 1883 key date proof three cent nickel graded PR 62 by NGC. This beautiful coin carries a great proof strike with very mark free surfaces. This coni holds some light golden hued toning throughout both the obverse and reverse.
This date has a proof mintage of only 6,609. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 4,500 have survived today. It is one of only 56 graded Proof 62 by NGC.
