1881 CC $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 64 Uncirculated Carson City Mint Toned Original

An original 1881 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by PCGS. It holds a great strike throughout both sides with very crusty original toned surfaces throughout both the obverse and reverse. A popular Carson City Mint date among collectors that is much scarcer than the 1882, 1883, and 1884. This Carson City Mint date holds a mintage of 296,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 180,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 8,631 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS.
