1873 $1 Seated Liberty Dollar PCGS PR 63 Proof Cameo CAM OGH Old Holder

An absolutely stunning 1873 proof seated liberty dollar graded PR 63 by PCGS. This coin carries excellent proof details with very minimal contact marks. It is stored in an old green label PCGS holder and we are confident it would at least earn the 'cameo' designation if not grade higher according to today's grading standards. Please note, even though this coin is clearly a cameo, PCGS has not deemed it this designation. This coin is one of the most attractive proof seated liberty dollars we have ever offered. Although it holds some very light hairlines as most proof seated liberty dollars, we do believe this beauty would grade higher today. Rather than re-grade this one, we would rather first keep it in it's old time green label holder. This 1873 proof seated liberty dollar holds a total mintage of only 600. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 525 of them have survived today and only 54 are graded PR 63 by PCGS.
